My Intro!!!

WOOT!!!! I felt like I would never reach my 10 post limit so that I can finally post some pics and links if need be.

Anyways, sup guys and gals. As of last week, I am a proud owner of a 00 Honda Accord V6. At first, this model did not appeal to me. Don't know why. Did want a 5th gen 2 door accord for a while but were hard to find.

Eventually, this style started growing on me. And so now I own one. And since I've been driving a car without A/C for some time. Having A/C is nice

Anyways, here are some pics.

The xRunner and the Prelude belong to my younger brothers.

And, this is my other car. Its been quiet a handful since there usually so old and have to replace so many things. That is why I decided to get a newer car so that I can work on this one without issues.

Hope to be buried with it when my time comes lol (Hope its in my old age)

(My bros old 1jz twin turbo 2 gen supra in the back ground. Sold it to get the prelude )

(Last two pics are slightly photoshop, but thats how I would like my interior to look. Just need to find a 88 driver side carpet and its set)

Thanks for viewing

Thanks for the welcome.

Its funny, we first started off with white cars. And slowly been evolving over time to black lol

Anyways,

I'm having some trouble with the accord. Everything seems to run fine and turns on smoothly. But lately, within the last 2 days, my radio keeps turning off ever 1-2mins and then turns back on. I've also noticed that the SRS light will turn on temp (maybe for like 5 secs or so) and then turns off. Now, I'm thinking the maybe the two symptoms are connected because all this started at the same time.

My guess is that there might be false contacts on some ground wires. Anybody have a place I can DL the ground points? Anyway I can DL the whole car repair book?

lol You driving an Xrunner? My bro just put on some wheels today. He's waiting on his drop kit to arrive so he can drop it a bit more. See if I remember to take some shots tomorrow.

I would have your alternator tested. Those are a common source of problems in the accord. If you find out its bad a good upgrade is the Honda Odyssey alternator, you can find more info by searching.

Thanks, Ill make sure to Ill do some searching on it when the time come. What I did was take off all the grounds I could see and cleaned them up and then put them back no. Haven't had the problem since. Lets hope it stays that way.

Its just regular black.

And man I tell you, I am from New Mexico. When I got here (about 14yrs ago abut it feels like its be 1 or 2), I hated it here. Couldn't stand the heat. But been working outside in a tire shop and eventually I got used to it so I almost never use it. But you know the ladies need A/C.

Sure is man. Sure is.

And I know that nobody cares but I'm 25 today. Woot. Time flies so quick. But I thank God I'm still alive and hope to live many many more years to come.
